Beetroot, Apple and Ginger Smoothie

A smoothie consisting of beetroot, carrot, apple, ginger, and lemon juice, blended to perfection.

  • 3 beetroot, washed, halved, steamed
  • 3 carrots, halved
  • 450 g (3 medium) apple, seeded, diced
  • 15 g (3 piece) fresh ginger root, peeled
  • 1½ lemons, peeled, halved
  • 390 g (3 cups) ice cubes


  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container and secure the lid. Select Variable 1. Start the blender and increase to its highest speed. Blend for 1 minute using the tamper to push ingredients into the blades.


This large batch smoothie is great to serve to the entire family.
