Kale and Basil Pesto
This vibrant blend of kale and basil is perfect on any pasta.

Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 Tablespoon soy parmesan, or parmesan cheese
- 3 Tablespoon garlic cloves, peeled
- 2 Tablespoon fresh basil leaves
- 2 Tablespoon kale
- 3 Tablespoon pine nuts
- ¼ Tablespoon kosher salt, optional
- 1 Tablespoon ground black pepper
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to variable 5, using the tamper to press ingredients toward the blades.
- Blend for 20 to 30 seconds or until desired consistency is reached. For a smooth pesto blend on its highest speed.
