Gin Rocket

Go green with this stimulating version of a classic Gimlet by muddling fresh rocket and fennel.

Ingredients

  • 180ml gin
  • 90ml simple syrup
  • 2 (130g) lime, sliced thin, ends discarded
  • 1 cup (20g) rocket
  • ¼ cup (15g) fennel fronds
  • 2 cups (250g) ice cubes

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the AER* Disc Container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then increase to its highest speed. Blend for 40 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades. 
  3. Prepare two cocktail glasses - coupe glasses work great.
  4. Using a mesh sieve, strain the cocktail into the glasses and enjoy!

Chef's Note

Garnish with fresh fennel fronds. This cocktail pairs beautifully with light pasta and fresh seafood.
