Oat Waffles

Ingredients
- 300ml milk (or non-dairy milk)
- 30ml maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 60ml unsalted butter (or coconut oil), melted
- 2 eggs (90g)
- 150g rolled oats
- 90g plain flour (or gluten-free flour)
- 1½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp sea salt (optional)
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Start on the lowest speed, then quickly increase to the highest speed. Blend for 20 seconds, or until completely smooth.
- Allow the batter to rest in the container with the lid on for 10 minutes.
- Preheat waffle iron to 190°C or medium-high heat.
- Cook waffles according to the waffle maker instructions.
- Place cooked waffles on a wire rack while preparing remaining batter.
- Serve warm.
Recipe Notes
- Serve with maple syrup, fresh berries or whipped cream.
- Resting the batter helps improve texture and consistency.
- For best results, ensure flour is measured accurately.
