Ingredients
- 3 1/4 cups flour, more for dusting
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 120 g warm water
- 1 large pinch sugar
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp instant yeast (or active dry yeast)
Directions
1. Preheat your oven to 230c. In a mixing bowl add the water, yeast, sugar and olive oil and mix.
2. Add the water and yeast mixture to your Vitamix High-Performance blender and then add flour and salt. Start your blender on its lowest speed and quickly increase to a higher speed and pulse. Use the tamper to push ingredients into the blades.
3. Take the dough out of the blender and place onto a floured surface.
6. With floured hands fold the dough onto itself forming it into a round ball. If it is too dry, keep kneading the dough until it is nice and soft. Cover with plastic wrap for 30mins. Remove plastic wrap and divide dough into 6-8 pieces and knead each one by hand to form a round disc piece.
7. Place the bread dough on top of a lightly floured bench and using a rolling pin roll out each round piece into an oblong, add salt and a little olive oil and place onto a tray lined with baking paper and allow it to rest while your oven is heating up.
8. Bake until golden brown.
