Thick Green Smoothie

Ingredients

  • ½ cup blueberries
  • ½ cup almond or coconut milk
  • ½ avocado
  • ½ cup baby spinach
  • ½ cup ice
  • 1 tsp maca powder or vanilla vegan protein powder (optional)
  • 1 tsp of nut butter (I use almond butter)
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Directions

  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender and add any toppings you like (extra coconut flakes or crushed almonds work well).!

Jacqui’s Tips

If you like your smoothie to be a little thicker, add less milk or add some more avocado to make it extra creamy! If you want it really cold, you can also add and blend ½ a cup of ice.
