Understanding the Controls

1. Fill halfway with warm water and two drops of dishwashing liquid.

2. Secure the lid and lid plug tightly.

3. Place on the base Select Speed Variable 1 and increase to Variable Speed 10 or press the Self-Cleaning program then Start/Stop.

4. The machine will automatically stop when the program has finished.

5. Rinse thoroughly and let air dry.

Sanitising with Bleach

Sanitising your container occasionally helps remove bacteria and odours. Bleach is an effective sanitiser when used in the proper ratio. Ensure you never use hot water or mix bleach with other cleaners. Follow these steps to disinfect the full-size container safely.

1. Follow the cleaning steps above.

2. Fill halfway with water and add 1½ teaspoons of liquid bleach.

3. Secure the lid and lid plug tightly.

4. Place on the base and select Speed Variable 1 and increase to Variable Speed 10 for 30-60 seconds or press the Self-Cleaning program then Start/Stop.

5. The machine will automatically stop when the program has finished.

6. Let the solution stand in the container for 1½ minutes.

7. Pour out and let air dry. Do not rinse after sanitising.

Sanitising with Vinegar

For a natural alternative to bleach, vinegar offers excellent sanitising power. It's ideal for those who prefer chemical-free cleaning. This method works best when combined with warm water and adequate standing time to ensure effective sanitisation.

1. Mix equal parts vinegar with water (475 ml of each). 

2. Secure the lid and lid plug tightly.

3. Place on the base and select Speed Variable 1 and increase to Variable Speed 10 for 30-60 seconds or press the Self-Cleaning program then Start/Stop.

4. The machine will automatically stop when the program has finished.

5. Let the solution sit for an additional 3 minutes.

6. Pour out and let the container air dry. Repeat as needed. 

Before First Use
