Blueberry Oatmeal Smoothie

Ingredients

1.4-litre Container 2-litre Container
240ml oat milk (or soy milk) 480ml oat milk (or soy milk)
120ml plain Greek yoghurt (or plain non-dairy yoghurt) 240ml plain Greek yoghurt (or plain non-dairy yoghurt)
25g rolled oats 50g rolled oats
1 tbsp hulled hemp seeds 24g hulled hemp seeds
140g frozen blueberries 280g frozen blueberries
140g frozen banana slices 280g frozen banana slices
½ tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional) 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
¼ tsp ground cinnamon (optional) ½ tsp ground cinnamon (optional)

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Run the Smoothie Program, or start on the lowest speed and quickly increase to the highest speed.
  3. Blend for 40–50 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades, until smooth and creamy.
  4. Serve immediately.

Recipe Notes

  • Add vanilla extract or use vanilla yoghurt for extra flavour.
  • Garnish with cinnamon and fresh blueberries if desired.
  • Adjust sweetness with additional honey or maple syrup to taste.
