Ingredients

  • 375g salted roasted peanuts

Directions

  1. Pour the peanuts into the 1.4-litre Vitamix container and secure the lid.
  2. Select the Purée mode.
  3. Use the tamper to push the peanuts toward the blades while blending.
  4. Blend until smooth and creamy. If needed, increase the blending time and continue blending on Speed 10 until the desired consistency is reached.

Recipe Notes

  • Add flavourings by stirring in sweeteners such as honey, maple syrup, agave or coconut sugar.
  • Enhance with spices like cinnamon, chilli, cardamom or nutmeg.
  • Mix in vanilla, extra salt or seeds such as sesame, sunflower or pepitas.
  • For best results, add flavourings while the peanut butter is still warm from blending to maintain a smooth, consistent texture.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 months.
